Karndean flooring is compatible with underfloor heating systems and can be laid over both wet and dry systems. Before installation we recommend that you consult with the manufacturer to check compatibility and any installation requirements.
Before installing your Karndean floor, please complete any required pre-installation preparation to ensure that your subfloor is clean, dry and level (rigid core products can be laid over subfloors with minor imperfections). We recommend opening all product boxes and acclimatising materials in their intended location for 48 hours prior to installation.
Karndean adhesives have been designed to be used in conjunction with our products and are low in Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) so you can be confident that our adhesives contribute to a healthy environment, both during and after installation. We offer a range of adhesives suitable for each Karndean product format and different project situations.
