Originally launched in 2011, our loose lay format quickly became a favourite with consumer and commercial customers alike. This premium luxury vinyl flooring is specified not just for its realistic and natural appearance, but also for its impressive specifications and practical benefits.
A decade on, our new and updated LooseLay Originals range brings some timeless favourites from the original offering together with newly created designs. The range features 18 wood-look planks and 12 stone-look tiles developed to complement a wide range of interior projects

The new collection of wood-look luxury vinyl planks celebrates the timeless and in-demand beauty of oak. Choose the natural grains and classic shades of European Oak, the aged and weathered patina of Character Oak or the versatile good looks of Limed Oak in wide format planks measuring 1050 x 250mm.
Also taking inspiration from nature, the collection of stone-look tiles offers a directional and contemporary colour palette. Choose from the Pietra collection, capturing the earthy tones of stone slab floors, the popular look of Honed Limestone, or the Concrete collection, the designer's go-to range for versatility and simplicity. Large-format tiles – 500 x 610mm – help to create the authentic look of stone-paved floors or a poured and finished slab.

Low maintenance, long life
A multi-layered design includes our K-Guard+ surface protection system. This commercial-grade, protective top layer offers outstanding resistance to scuff marks, stains and fine scratches to keep floors looking good for longer.
Every loose lay product also features Karndean K-Wave® friction grip backing. This innovation uses weight and friction to hold the flooring in place. No clicking. No locking. In the majority of installations, a minimal amount of Hi-Tack Pressure Sensitive adhesive is all that's required. It's ideal for overnight transformations or fitouts where minimal downtime is required. Individual planks or tiles can be easily replaced if needed.
A clean and green choice
Karndean Designflooring is also specified for its hygienic qualities as it is free from BPA, phthalates and formaldehyde.
