New Korlok Stone Range, Stones with a Soul and Story.
Australia’s market leader in luxury vinyl flooring, Karndean Designflooring is celebrating the understated colour tones found in natural stone by introducing 12 new stone designs to its modern Korlok collection. The range includes accessories to extend their Korlok offering, which also features Korlok wood.
Designed to offer quicker installation times and added acoustic benefits, it is the first time the brand has added stones to its ‘click and lock’ rigid core portfolio. Warmer underfoot and easier to maintain than natural stone, the 18” x 24” tiles will be the perfect choice for large and open-plan spaces.
The new Korlok stone palette of 12 hues includes a range of silvery and warm mid-greys, muted and soft neutrals, and honey colours. From the striking charcoal-grey tones of Black Sands to the elegant Pumice Stone with its beautiful chalky limestone effect, there’s a tone to match traditional and contemporary interiors alike.
The collection also features Urban Grey and Oxford Grey with its contrasting warm, mid-grey colourways, and Cotswold Stone reminiscent of the dry-stone walls and honey-coloured cottages found in the beautiful Cotswolds of the United Kingdom.
Like all Karndean floors, the designs are handcrafted to reflect the muted colour tones found in natural limestone and have been developed to include subtle veining, delicate mottling, and a chalky appearance to create a realistic finish.
As it clicks and locks into place without the use of adhesive, Korlok features Karndean’s K-Core® technology meaning it can be fitted over most existing subfloors, floorboards, or ceramics. With K-Core® also providing excellent acoustic benefits by reducing sound transfer to rooms below 21dB, it is fast becoming the format of choice for home designers looking to boost wellness and achieve a healthy home.
The introduction of the new InteGrout®, the premier rigid core click-locking floor that is able to hide subfloor imperfections and it features a number of elements that help both the speed and ease of installations. Unlike typical textured grout, Karndean InteGrout® is smooth and non-porous; it won’t harbour dirt or bacteria. Another major benefit to the InteGrout® is that it can withhold the seasonal temperatures without cracking.
To complete your Korlok rigid core floor, we have five colour coordinated accessories for each design. The accessories are custom made with unique features such as tapered base plates to suit Built-in underlay, and are suitable for residential and light commercial use.
All Karndean designs are durable, waterproof, and compatible with underfloor heating, as well as low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and phthalate-free.
